Don’t just believe us, hear from our recent graduate. Ravina, Financial Markets & Treasury Graduate Degree Studied: Bachelor of Applied Finance and Commerce What rotations did you experience as part of the program? During my program, I was able to spend four rotations throughout the year across Treasury, Syndicate, Rates Trading and Strategy and Research. Within Treasury I spent time on the Global Funding desk, which is primarily responsible for carrying out a portion of Westpac Wholesale funding task. In financial markets, the Syndicate team also supported this function as a service it provided to not just Westpac, but banks globally who wished to raise this money in the Australian market. I was then able to move to Rates Trading, before finishing off with a rotation across the Strategy desk, which involved producing research across all markets. What are you excited to get involved in after the grad program? For now, I’m keen to move in to the Rates trading team and develop as a trader. I’m really excited about the knowledge and experience I’ll be provided and to work with an amazing team that have extensive market experience.
