Don’t just believe us, hear from our recent graduate. 2018 Graduate Degree Studied: Bachelor of Data Science & Decisions Why did you apply for the Westpac Graduate Program? I applied for Westpac Group because of the commitment to its people. I wanted to work for a company that had a focus on employee growth and development and a wealth of opportunities for every individual: I’ve definitely found this to be true on my career journey so far. Why should students choose the Group Data Graduate Program? If you love fast-paced environments, solving complex problems and using new technology then Group Data is the program for you! Group Data is a really fascinating and fast-paced business. We are the ones that deliver strategy and analytical insight across the group. What else can graduates get involved in? Outside of your day job, you can join one of the graduate committees or action groups where and work alongside a team of very dedicated grads to help Australian charities and causes throughout the year. For example this year we ran a national OzHarvest and clothing appeal, organised blood donations, participated in food van volunteering and fundraised through multiple channels for Youth Off the Streets. It is such a fulfilling way of giving back, to both Westpac and Australian communities, and to also engage other grads and stakeholders to make a real difference.
