Program overview Do you aspire to bringing world-class expertise to Westpac’s entire business? Our role in Finance & Accounting is to ‘protect value’ and help our businesses prosper and grow. Our Finance & Accounting team provides quality insights and advice to support strategic decision-making by our business leaders. In Finance & Accounting, our people work across all areas of the Westpac Group and play a key role in driving the strategic direction of our businesses. With Finance & Accounting teams spanning areas such Consumer and Business Banking (our core banking divisions), BT (our wealth management division), Treasury & WIB (our investment bank), Investor Relations & Group Finance (who bring all the consolidated results together for our ASX and statutory reporting) amongst others, you’ll be spoilt for choice.
Who should apply Graduates from all disciplines are welcome to apply for the Finance & Accounting Graduate Program, but you will have a strong interest in Finance or Accounting.

Program structure 24 months: 4 x 6 month rotations
How it works Finance & Accounting is pivotal to the success of the Westpac Group and we view our Finance & Accounting Graduates as our future leaders. When you join the Finance & Accounting Graduate program, we will provide opportunities for you to choose rotations that interest you. Your rotations will be designed to provide you on-the-job-training, as well as specific technical training to support your career in Financial Services. We will empower you to take charge of your career. You will need to undertake either CA or CPA course, which we will pay for, once you’ve passed.
