While having time to be part of something bigger… If you've ever wished you could do more to help your local community, you can make your wishes come true whilst working with Westpac Group. There will be endless opportunities to roll up your sleeves to help build sustainable local communities, and support important issues. Below is a snapshot of the initiatives that Graduates supported this year.
Grad OzHarvest Food Drive The Grads coordinated a national charity drive with OzHarvest where they collected over 700 kilograms of food for Australians in need.
Grad Blood Donation Drive The 2018 Grads quite literally rolled up their sleeves by running a Blood Donation Drive – assisting a total of 30 patients in crucial need of blood in Australia (or 220 different life saving products).
St Vincent De Paul Society Clothing Drive The Grads initiated a national clothing drive throughout winter and collected more than 40 boxes of clothing for the St Vincent De Paul Society and Pass it on Clothing & Co.
And developing your skills for the future. All Graduates are supported by a structured development program, known as ‘Future Ready Grad’. The program aims to develop eight ‘future ready’ professional competencies and is complemented by individual profiling assessments. The scientific validity of the profiling data will take the eight competencies beyond conceptual models and allow each individual to successfully embed, integrate and practice the learning. Prepare to have fun, be creative and more importantly – be challenged!
